Infant Program

(6 weeks-1 year)

A safe place for your infant means you feel sound.

It is a big leap to leave your baby in the care of someone else.

Teachers will work with you to ensure a smooth transition. You will see how much we want your child to feel secure, loved and ready to explore his or her world when they visit our childhood classroom. At Lyon Park Childcare, we first position protection in order to protect our families and employees.

During the day of an infant

A daily rhythm will be followed in your child’s classroom. Regardless of their individual sleeping and feeding schedules, children often come together to play outdoors for group time and to engage their senses in snacks of exploration.

Explore the infant classroom

Take a look at how we set up our classroom for infants. It’s organized for their age and staged for learning and development.

A shoe free world designed for small explorers

One of the first things you can see about our children's lesson is our sock-only policy. As soon as your child is ready to crawl and scoot, they have the freedom to explore, It is necessary. A shoe-free area protects their small hands and mouth from germs and dirt when exploring the world.

Maintaining cribs/cots free and clear

We keep cribs free from items such as pillows and toys and use a solid sheet mattress. Our bedding with the name and the image of your child is personalized. Moreover, they are visible so that we can look at your little one.

Flexible plans to feeding for the needs of your child

We'll keep your child fed, happy and safe whether you breastfeed or bottle-feed. We have policies for labeling and separating breast milk and formula carefully, and you are always welcomed on any interval of the day to stop in and feed your baby.

Toddler Program

(1-2 years old)

“If their on the move! You're on the move!” For children, we have a setting to explore the healthy (and fun!) world.

Home away from Home.

In our toddlers' classroom, everything is built for little explorers, and at this age, a lot is happening. When your child walks all over the house, every day they learn and experience new things.

Curriculum for Toddlers

Making art, stacking blocks, reading books – we'll help them discover their passions (and find new ones!) while they play and learn, regardless of how your young child likes to do so or grow.

Eye level for children

The toddlers’ classroom has something special: everything is kids eyelevel! We have put little hands on indicating books and toys for them to grab.

Building brain power and strong bodies

Activities like sorting, counting, and measuring things help budding brains grasp science and math concepts. We build their focus and memory with simple daily routines. Teachers also support physical skills like learning to walk or roll a ball.

Images and markings

Images and visual knowledge are everywhere in our classrooms. In order to help develop their sense of community, we still have pictures of families of our children. Labels , especially visual ones help your kid safely and confidently navigate the dayacre.

Learning about feelings and how we express them

At this age, relationships with classmates and teachers begin to form. We use social and emotional skill-building tools like feelings magnets and puppets to help them learn about their own feelings, and notice the feelings of others.
